Why not trying a LiveCD?
Ubuntu or something else

HI!
I have just begun to learn linux and its scripts.
I want a program/software which runs on windows and executes Shell Programs, just as Turbo C executes C Programs, Because I don't wanna install linux on my PC.
I heard that there are this kind of s/w for windows.
I need this for study purpose.
I don't know much about linux, so I might sound weird, but anyone knowing Shell Programs will understand what I am talking about.

Can you give more details, I know there are cd's with which you can just run and execute shell program, it save you from installing linux.
But I don't know much about it.
I urgently need it.

Try a vmware image! There are some ready, should be easy. Have a look under non-Ubuntu OS.

That's why I take Linux, because what does not fly can not crash.

Well, getting Ubuntu is a piece of cake. The images on the official ubuntu site are bootable when burnt on a CD/DVD.
If you prefer torrents, here's one: http://releases.ubuntu.com/9.04/ubun...86.iso.torrent
