I think it might have an MP3 player. See pictures at this address. And couldn't a video player like CMplayer just be installed on it. No biggie.

sorry, that won't take down this phone easily
add in GPS or more preferably wifi on the 680 and that phone is beaten!
and once someone puts in full unicode support or a unicode character table, the 680 will be a true international phone.
and a big no-no to:
-64mb sd
-256k color
lol a true e680/i freak
i like both phones -the e680/i and the Imcosys Linux Smartphone.
the Imcosys Linux Smartphone has a normal SD slot like the e680/i so we can use easely more than 1Gb, but i dont know what is the maximum space...
nevermind to me by 65K or 256k color..
both phones should have 3G and videocalling -that will be great...

but's its true
if the e680i had wifi (802.11) support, it would put many phones to shame
and make fierce competition with nokia's wifi linux internet tablet
moto also managed to put wifi under a different linux phone (a9... something)
more info here: http://linuxdevices.com/news/NS8696321615.html
too bad moto left the e680/i out of this
at least opie balanced some things for this phone
off topic:
a new release of opie around may or june
and I recall reading from somewhere about Bush trying to tax wifi? ...?! ...?!
yeah, you are right... also i would love to have wifi on the e680/i, but is still a suberb phone... i know many people would love to have it in switzerland and new zealand.
i hope the next real freaky linux phone like the e680/i is, will have wifi, better battery, GPS, VoIP, skype, audio/video streaming, digital TV with on card recording, 3G, video calling, and all other tech things that e680/i not have, and the design like e680/i again...
would be the e680w with3G/CDMA/GSM dual network(2 simcards) phone with 1Gb internal user mem, 32Gb SD card, 625Mhz 1025x-core CPU, Bluetooth Keyboard, inbuilded computer LCD monitor connector and extra car-battery..![]()
better than the SE P990i, N92 and N91 together.![]()
