What a game!!!!
80 minutes gone, I felt the game was out and United were on an unprecedented hat-trick of losses. But 81st minute and bang.. Ronaldo hits a cracker that almost burns the ground. A draw was almost destined. But the united spirit was out of the world. The stadium was rocking to its foundations with the 76,000 spectators on top voice! Attack was the word for the last 25 minutes or so. Evans, Neville, o'Shea all moving up for attacks. Defenders normally don't venture far, but we had Evans vying for headers!!!! Then comes on MacHeda, controls the ball exquisitely in the penalty area, slips through the defender and curls in a beautiful shot in extra time! That shot was out of the world, curling dangerously and beating Friedel completely. The stadium erupted, fans leaping on each other, the substitutes jumping out of the benches and Sir Alex jumping madly. This game really was true football. Intense, unpredictable and nerve-wrecking till the very last minutes.

I expected them to crush Porto also but settles for a draw , lets see in the second leg. Astonished to see Liverpool being hammered by Chelsea
