We'll members from the last year we can see that Motorola is one of the most confused of all manufacturers in the buisness, they have dipped their hands in almost every possible platform possible. This year is going to be no better. We are as far as we know going to have(in the least):
1. 3 UIQ phones, which are Skarven(which is the name of a Island off the coast of the Netherlands), XPIXL and another whose name I forget
2. At least 1 WM phone, the Genghis which maybe the Q9 with WiFi or a totally different phone, we can just specualte at this moment.
3. LJ of course, U9 and E8 for now, several later.
4. Android, not sure if theres a working phone by Motorola, but they are testing the OS on several phones, if they;ve been produced by Motorola or not I'm not too sure.
5. Maybe a touch based Linux OS? They cant leave touchscreens for sure since thats whats up coming with windows mobile 7 rearing its ugly haed(although it is quite beautiful, the UI I mean).
But most of you will love to know where Motorola's main focus lies this year, we'll lucky for you guys I can answer that question, but you're not going to be happy with the answer for sure.
From some sources I have come to know that teams working on LJ previously have now been assigned Symbian duty. Motorola seem to be concentrating their efforts completely on Symbian with LJ taking a back seat. It seems like after 3 years of development they're not going where they would have like to have been. With 3G upon us in most countries the LJ platform still does not have a 3G stack, very depressing. So it looks like all the Linux lovers are going to be disappointed next year as things stand at the moment.
