    Default M1000 (M1K) user

    Hi IQEM,

I just got my M1k. And being actively jumping around the web for stuffs (more on firmware) and saw some of urs 'questions' at "Symbian Info Network". Guess they do not have the full shx file yet.

Well, if you do find anything new, do update or point me the right direction to browse. Too bad the phone got no MMS and also the SMS is limites to 150 characters.

Read it and tried it already.

Not bad software! Too bad it is only 14 days trial. Now i'm using it to find my contact rather then the default contact program. Couple with Sman software, i can autostart it everytimes i reboot the phone.

If a full working flash do come out for M1K, then next i try is to flash to A1K firmware. Weighing that A1K is English and also MMS, also no character limitation, i think i can live without WLAN for a while until some smart-alec abt to do something about it.

When I bought the M1K, i didn't know that it is without MMS and also has character limitation.

Check with you, IQEM, i wanted to buy an extra battery for the M1K, do it use the same battery for A1K? Cuz for the A1K spare part i can get it easy in S'pore.... don't know abt the M1K.

yup, they got the same identical batery...same volt & mAh, even other sparepart like stylus pen, LCD, camera, loudspeaker, IC PA, any other thing except the hardware for A-GPS...and the port charger/USB cabledata and handsfree slot ARE different than A1k...

well, just curios...what is the cost of a brand new genuine/original A1000 battery 1600mAh there on singapore ?

    note:
    sorry for my bad english...
