Need help about upgrading A 1000

Hi , I bought Motorola A 1000 and offered it to my wife
I would like to upgrade with the best firmware , the best settings... but I do not know how to do it.. I'm E680/i owner and I reallly need help
I read a few about A 1000 forum but it's not really clear in my mind
First of all:
Do I need PST or RSD lite for flashing?
I use Windows SP1, is it ok?
What about the bootloader???
I really need help, a tutorial with step by step should be great

yes, u have to use RSD lite... mm u can find tutorials and firmwares and tons of symbian UIQ download here :

I read somewhere that I need Win SP2 to flash A1000, right?
I have SP1 and would like to know if I can with it?

hahaha maintenant tu change à A1000 sylvain... bon courage de le modifier.... j'espere que l'année prochaine je pourrai acheter A1200 au l'autre nouveau portable mais je graderai toujours mon E680. je l'aime hahaha

No Problem with XP SP1, before flashing .. you should have 2 program..

1. PST 7.1.1 / above
2. RSD Lite 1.9 / above

After installing them, both program will install some patch for USB after that your phone ready to flash with New Firmware *CLink*
