a1k screen calib problem

hey guys
i got an a1k recently and its now having lots of probs
i cant calibrate the screen .........
if i touch any part of the screen only the top menus can be accessed ( the phone , messages like that)

i tried flashing with some generic firmware , the first time i did it, it went dead thats only 3g flashes on the screen and it goes off......
then i used another hybrid firmware from another site now the same calibration problem exists and its not registring to my servic provider .......

can some one help to solve this problem or is it a hardware problem
i bought it from middle east .......

hmmm, how about a clean flash ?

here’s how to do it (original taken from http://crash-ob.net/) :

Recomended tools are :

1. USB cable data
2. RAMLDR IMPROVE / REPSTUDIO
3. FLASHBACKUP V.2.3 Recommended
4. MultiFlashFlex (from PST)
5. PDS dan Bootloader Original / Last Backup

Step by step:

1. remove the battery
2. press and hold game button keys
3. put the battery back BUT game button keys still pressed
4. after that you'll hear “BUPP” sound (but if it not showed up then go on)
5. open/run RAMLDR IMPROVE, and make sure the phone status are ”Connected”
6. then press ” ERASE ” button
7. wait until “ACK ERASE” showed up
8. remove USB cable data and battery
9. then plug the cable data and battery back then run/open FlashBackup to do RESTORE BOOTLOADER and PDS process
10. after restore finished then Flash your phone using MP or fullflash firmware

note:
this tutorial work too for other Symbian UIQ OS Phone A Series...

any firmware will do...just make sure that the firmware are unlocked and doesn't change the bootloader...

Otherwise ..

1. plug your cable data + power into with press n hold game button A + B

2. Make sure not to plug in your datacable into your PC

3. let it work until 5 minute (at less) then remove your datacable then try it again to access to Bootloader ..

It's work at A92x, it make your phone S Blank status (there is no firmware at your phone)
