Thks alot. me dun know alot of ting abt smartphone
such as; how 2 download games, software etc
OK, here's the result about your question...
I haven't personally tried to view video files yet, But having a quick look you can do a find in the video application but I assume you can search for them in Picsel viewer and launch them that way? if there your own ones.
As for games and software you can download them with 3's walled garden browser at a cost or search the tinternet yourself and transfer them to phone for free (I never said that)

regarding video do you mean on the handset or on the computer?
handset: press the top left button taking you into camera mode, make sure in bottom left video is selected, then press button in bottom right folder. you should now get a list of all the videos you have taken. click and play.
computer: transfer video from handset to computer (you haven't said you cant do this, so i'm assuming you can) - go to three's website and find the download software part i thinki its in care or the like, and download dicas mpegable player. there is a file which lets you play it in windows media player, and a standaone player. i personally use the standalone player as i get nothing but grief from the codec (other file)

Emulation offers the best games I've found. Picodrive (megadrive/genesis) and EScummVM (Scumm games like Sam & Max and Monkey Island) offer two different types of games and both are great fun. The only slight problem with picodrive is that there are only 2 fire buttons, still games like Sonic work just fine. There's also a version of Doom (EDoom) which will impress your friends.
You can get these and loads of other games a my-symbian.com just look for UIQ software in Games and Emulation. I havn't tested many of them on the A1000 so they might now work, also you may have more luck with games for Moto A920 and A925 phones then those designed for SE P800, P900 and P910i although many of these still work but most don't use the hardware keys on the A1000 because the SE phones only have a jogdial.
There's a list of programs that definatly work in the forum somewhere I think...Just don't install handyday 2004 on your A1000 or it'll break it. Most apps are likely to either work although quite a lot don't work because of missing hardware (jog dials and the like).
