Hi! I have a Z6 and I flashed it to POL. Everything alright but one thing. The caller ID does not work properly.
In order to make it work, I have to add the number to the contact with the country and area code (in my case +54911) otherwise it will not recognice it.
Anyone have a clue on how to solve this???

Have the same problem here (Uruguay), and it is because of the CG43, looks like your phone came with factory FW that recognizes the number, in phones with P2K platform, it was a problem that could be solved by modifying the seem 0032_0001, but in phones with JUIX platform, like Z6, it is in CG43. Abram knows how to fix it and he doesn´t tell me how or make it, maybe he tells you. I have tried with rasputin´s guide, but no solution until the moment.
I would appreciate if you solve it some day to tell me how. Thanks.

You are looking in the right place, CG43, The best way to find the difference is to compare the cfg files from the original FW and from the POL FW. It is a boring old job, but worth it. Concentrate on the cfg files that might have something to do with caller IDs, or phone numbers.
That way I found the code line that enables/disables the weblink on the right softkey on the V8. And before you ask, no, I do not know where the caller number ID is.

PoL uses Russian version of CG43 which is probably causing the bugs - too much differencies when compared with European CG43 for example. Try to flash original CG43 from your firmware. To have custom skins, telnet etc. you need only modified CG52.
btw. there is no problem to edit/overwrite camera.cfg, mp.cfg, system.cfg later using FTP - no need to flash modified CG43..

2 mysiak: Thanks a lot, you opened my mind mentioning the were differences between european and russian CG43. I downloaded the one you uploaded, but didn´t help, so I downloaded another one, and it worked! So I just compared the ezxs and found the differences.
