I have all my phone numbers stored in contacts list with international prefix, as follows: +386 40 123 456
And now when someone calls me and I am in home country (Slovenia) their number is displayed as 040 123 456 without the prefix and Motorola Z6 does not recognise it as the same person... I never had this problem before on my previous phones.
Any ideas what setting I should change?
Thanks,
Peter
Hello,
Thank you for your reply. I will also send them an e-mail so perhaps if there is no solution they will make one. This does not make sense as I can not remove those prefixes - I need them.
Otherwise I am very satesfied with data connection stability. I had nokia 5500 Sport before - I just sent it to service as it kept resetting every now and then. also the previous nokia 2220 so I decided to swith to Motorola.
Any idea how to remove all those questions if connection is allowed and things like that? I would like to do it also for some java applications but even if I choose the permissions there is no option to choose don't ask. Either don't allow or ask every time application starts...
Best regards,
Peter
Hi,
i just talked to the motorola customer support.
They told me, that i need to send the mobile to them... together with a detailed description of the malfunction. I will do so at the end of next week. Will keep you informed.
Brgds,
H.
This is crazyThey want you to send the phone there even though it is just a software issue
Stupid customer support...
I am really looking forward to hear what they tell you.
Thanks for updates. I have not yet received their reply.
Best regards,
Peter
Well, I called today to Motorola Slovenia, they sent me to Motorola Servis and they said I should call Motorola Info center.
And there they said that I can try to solve this by saving numbers to SIM cardor there is no other solution for the moment...
They will report my problem to Motorola. I already started adding numbers without prefix to my contacts when they call me... not exactly a solution for year 2007perhaps 10 years ago this would be acceptable...
