Taking into account I'm more a history scholar than a technosavant, I have a (most liekly) stupid qwuestion about the Rokr E1 and it's (what I'm assuming is an) incompatibility with SD High Capacity memory cards...

I know enough to know how they work, part of it being SDHC works in FAT32 while ordinary only in FAT16... My question, then, is this.... Is the Rokr E1's incompatibility with SDHC something which can be overcome through clever firmware hackery, or is the its inability to recognise the file allocation table more or less hardwired into the circuitry of the phone?

If it IS a question of upgrading the firmware, I doubt anybody would spend the time hacking, reverse engineering, reprogramming etc.. to have an old phone work with new technology, am I right in that assumption? But as far as I am aware, there are few, if any, mobile phones currently compatible with SDHC....

Anyways, is it possible?
