No Picture ID on front screen

I purchased an unlocked Razr2 v8 because we don't have the major cell companies where I live. Phone works fine but I don't get the picture ID on the front screen when a contact (with picture in phone) calls me.

I've followed instructions carefully, but no luck.

This is one of the main reasons I purchased the phone since I have trouble reading phone number ID's.

Any suggestions?

just a shot in the blue
do you have the contact on the SIM too?
delete the SIM contacts, because the V8 uses them first.
if you have the contacts only on phone memory it should work.
