As of now, there is nothing you can do. I am currently working on an FB3 profile for the V8 but it seems it will need some TLC before its ready.
Hi there.
I am a lucky guy
I got my german V8 today. Now I have a chinese and a german one.
Now for my question:
How can I rip the german Firmware and LanguagePack from the german phone and then flash it to the chinese one? (without destroying them)
Which tools do I need for that?
I will upload the files when I have them.
Thanks a lot in advance.
Cheers from germany!

As of now, there is nothing you can do. I am currently working on an FB3 profile for the V8 but it seems it will need some TLC before its ready.
I made a FB3 Profile and made a backup of CG46 it includes Language and Talking Phone Feature.
As next i tried to flash the backup to my V8, wasnt possible, mobile shows Criticle Error Message only.
As next i did compile a reflash out of the backuped CG46 with SBF-ReCalc and flashed it with RSD-Lite. From that point the V8 restarts in Bootloader only with a criticle error message. Only when i flashed an original CG46 the V8 starts normal.
Its because nearly all Codegroups in new R6xx series are signed and as long we cant hack this signature we cant use backups anymore.
If nevertheless anyone is interested bricking his V8 by flashing a backup i can upload the FB3 V8 profile.![]()
Upload it man, I would like to compare and contrast our profiles. Thanks.
Here it is...

So, I downloadeds your Profile, inserted the files into the F&B3 folder.
Now I can choose the R601_V8 profile, but it still says "no phone connected". Since the phone is accesible with RSD Lite V3.9 I guess something might be wrong in the profile. The phone I used was the chinese one with the chinese FW. Maybe I´ll try the german one later on.#

You must start the V8 in Bootloader and try it again.![]()
