Yes bro... as far as I know, that version contain trojan, actually i don't know who did that...
The newest RSD Lite for now is version 4.2, you can google for it, This version is virus free and surely an official released by Motorola.
I was looking at a page that showed where to get RSDLite so I tried the latest one. The page is here:
RSDLite - download here - MotorolaFans.com Forums
I downloaded the 4.1 version of RSDLite. When installing it - it said it would install in the program files/motorola/rsdlite directory, and at the end it said it would launch the program. I tried this and it didn't seem to launch anything, and I noticed it didn't seem to write anything into that directory - so I tried a different directory on a different drive.
It did write the program there, and then the virus program Kaspersky said there was a backdoor in the files. I didn't run that program - but it reported that Backdoor.Win32.Nuclear.by was in the executable file. When scanning the original installtion found on this page - no virus was detected.
Anyone else notice that files found on this site have backdoors in it? Does anyone else have experience with this particular file and notice that a backdoor is installed? I don't know much about Backdoor.Win32.Nuclear.by or where it may have installed a file/backdoor. I am running a complete scan of my system (4 terrabytes) so it will take some time - but any information or thoughts that people have would be very useful - thank you.

*As a sidenote, it has been discovered by some members that anti-virus programs detects this as a threat. But we have come to a conclusion that its a false positive, and i personally feel its safe for all members *
from there:

Then shouldn't the moderators delete that as it seems to be located on this sites forum threads?

I monster pack flashed a v3m with the only sprint based pack I found spr 48. It works great except I can't call and people can't call me. I thought this was the original latest firmware for this phone from Sprint. I use Sprint. But now it has erased the phone number in the phone and when I call it only allows me to call *2 and no other phone number. I called to activate it and the lady told me to enter the code to assign the numbers ##DIGITS# and hit the call button. It tried to call that number but didn't enter me into the service screen to fix the problem. She was baffled and tried to send me to tech support but disconnected me.
Is there a way I can do this myself? Multiple ways? Is that the stock firmware from Sprint? If not can someone pm me and help me get the true firmware? Is the firmware the problem or is this a strange occurance or quite normal?
Please help
Michael
Can anyone answer some or all of those questions? Please? Sprint said they can't activate the phone using the service screen # they provide.
Michael
The service screen code is erased when using a monster pack flash. In order to enter the service screen you type ##000000#, enter in your phone number twice after choosing edit. The phone will reset and you are done.
