my phone brick or what happen!

plz help me
i flash with 6.3.9.sbf the then screen become grey in rsd lite it shows "plz manully turn ON ur phone"
i put my phone ON it takes 5minutes to turn ON then QTopia clock appears then i attach my phone during ON
with usb and tryid
to flash with "flash after Qtopia" rsd doent recognise my phone.
then i turn my mob in MBM mode red screen then i attach usb then it recognise and when i flash with
"flash after Qtopia" flashing reach till "waiting for renumeration" and it sais FAIL i tried to do it 6 to 7 times
same thng happen sayes FAIL.


then i connect phone in MBM mode n try to flash with "niks blackdia...sbf" during
this time rsd recognise my phone n flash my phone till "waiting for renumeration" appears it says FAIL.
and phone becomes OFF then i try to flash in MBM mode again but when i connect phone with PC rsd does not recognise
the phone and only MBM mode screen appears and nothing happen,tried with different usb port phone not recognisable.

when i try to turn phone ON only grey colour screen appears i wait till 10minutes
noting happen and same thing happen during charging.


Currently- phone turn only in MBM mode but not recognisable in RSD
Tryed to turn ON phone only grey screen appears waitng nothing happen, same during charging,
i tred to install different rsd lite not able to recognise.


PLZ PLZ PLZ HELP ME WHAT SHOULD I DO MY PHONE IS JUST GOING BLANK

take out battery for 30 min & insert again & try flash....
try diff. version of rsd lite.
charge full battery before flashing...

phone become ON in MBM mode but rsd and PC does not shows any phone connected tried in my friend PC also

hey you know what i'd experience it too last month. what i did i borrowed my friend's E6 extra full charge batt. then goto MBM mode then connect to RSD lite (My version is 4.1) then it should work...

the problem of this Qtopia thing ain't stable yet so..there's always a possibility of bricking up your phone...so kindly w8 for the final and stable version to release...
it's nice to try this FW but you must know how to deal it when it messed up your phone...

so in my case..i messed up my E6 for 5 times..with this FW..it's okay atleast i can still go back to the modd FW...

I dont think that flashing the qtopia firmware releases (even these betas) will ever brick any phone. There are specific flash regions that when written will certainly brick phones, but the qtopia firmware DOES NOT write to any of these regions.

The rule of thumb is, if you can enter the red screen, then the phone IS NOT BRICKED.

The issue the original poster is having looks like a bad usb cable, broken miniUSB port, or some driver/RSD problem on the PC.

thanks pals but i had gone to MOTOASSIST and u know they flash my phone to 10p fw
{those who have 22p fw as basic fw if they flash their mob to below 22p fw like modded 08p or 09p the camera stop functioning}
when i reach at home then i saw camera not functioning then i again flash to 22p fw this time my PC and RSD recognize the phone and camera starts functioning conclusion that even motoasist people not know abt this but best part they give my phone in 30min.

plz pal give a detail on how brick phone and normal phone looks and its software behavior as u said if phone become ON in MBM mode that mean phone is OK.

also what problem can we face during flashing with QTOIPA i really want to install QTOPIA on my phone but this time when it is stable and have only one .sbf file

With a bricked phone... well, you have the same behaviour as a brick, or in the better of the cases, you have some leds blinking, maybe the screen, a little, for one seconds or so...

Consider your phone as a PC:

Your phone's "bios" (its bootloader, in fact) is located on your phone's "hard-disks" ( flash memory) and flashing some firmware will risk your phone (some not (*) ), exacly like flashing a bios on a pc.
It's very easy to write on the bootloader, a lot of sbf files want to replace it ( for wrong reasons, sometimes ), and RSD lite ( a service tools) will allow these risky flashes...

At least on a PC it's harder to flash a bios, and you will not trust every new-kids-on-the-blocks bios file .

(*) : Some firmwares (like qtopia and any "hacked cramfs only" "hacked AP rootfs" "AP only" as well) will not really risk to kill your phone, because they never replace the bootloader.
