    looks great about to try it, but like anything else I always read the shell script first to see what is happenning, at the bottom of your install scrip you see:

    Code:
    my_alert='/usr/SYSqtapp/phone/alertprocess'
    my_mid1='/mmc/mmca1/themes/music.mp3'
    . /home/native/.profile
    $my_alert -playvol 5 -playfile $my_mid1
    but music.mp3 isn't included in your rar, just and FYI.

    That being said I just replaced the sound and rewrote the script. The script takes a copy of the current theme/skin so that you can run Default.lin (which I wrote) to revert back. I also changes the blending since your is set to 0 which is 100% black. And I moved the desktop pic and loginout animations tot he phone not the MMC which isn't loaded at boot time. If you want I could pkg this version up for you, of course I just know scripting and linux the theme is still 100% yours, let me know, BTW EXCELLENT job easily the BEST A1200 theme I've tried.

    Here it is, I'd like to improve it even more, but here it is.

    1) make sure you ahve one of the default themes running before you run the lin file.
    2) wait for the dingdong noise before you reboot

    that's it, it will create a Default folder and copy the current theme (the default one) once Default is made it won't do it again so you can try other themes and still keep the orig safe. Also if the install dir exists it won't make a backup cause it will assume you have a theme installed aready and it's just meant to back up the orig not a custom theme.

    Hope this helps.

    EDIT: Oh and I added the theme file so that the on and off and desk top works now. It was missing in the original, I also moved them in /ezx_user so they are present at boot when the MMC isn't.

    cant get this to load completely. do I use linloader to install the whole thing? doing it that way nothing happens. I can use skin installer to load the .pskn file and that works but there is no .phm to load the theme. What do I need to do here?

    Thanks,
    TxTaquito

    Both version require linloader, you jsut run the .lin file and wait awhile, with my version you'll hear a dingdong like with mpkg files, then you'll need to reboot. I've removed it and installed it a few times now, but maybe I pkged the wrong version I'm gonna download my own file and re test it to make sure.

    yep just double checked and it works as expected. Just click on the iPhone.lin file and wait for the noise, Default.lin is only if you want to remove the theme afterwards.

    OH and this theme is for the A1200 just to make sure since i have no idea what a phm file is.

    yep, I hear the "dingdong" too and then I reboot but nothing has changed. To be clear, does this need to be in the root of the TF card or can it be in a "Themes" folder on the TF card?
