It is fast. That's not the point... the point is that you have to wait in a queue, and if you're using a proxy server (an open proxy in the US), then it says that you've downloaded this files xxx many times, and if you want more, wait for some time. Then I have to turn the proxy off, and sometimes, it turns out that someone else is already downloading the blasted thing!

Why doesn't someone have a personal homepage w/ these files or something? Does someone have a Googlepages account ( I do, but I don't think I'd be willing to give everyone my username, as it's username.googlepages.com)......

Or - use some other hosting service (as fast as Rapidshare but not as irritating..).

rapidshare does not have a limited number of downloads like yousendit does. and rapidshare is fast (and free) so it serves our purposes well enough.

Yea, but you have to wait if someone else is downloading a file...

I'll be searching for another filehost in the meantime - I need one myself
