Thread: signal meter

  1. #1

    Default signal meter

    i think i asked this once before but im not sure. I look at the sample of the themes for the a1200 i'll use the voodafone theme as an example. the pic shows like a tower with the signal bars going up instead of side to side also there is a number? is this supposed to change when i install a theme because i've ran into this alot and mine has ever changed.

    Yes,this depends on the themes that you are installing.
    If the theme has those image files, it will take it from there or else, will take from the default theme.

    thank you for the reply. i will try more but so far even if the sample screen for the theme shows a different meter mine has yet to change. i'm going to try different themes just to see if it makes a difference. anyone recommend a certain way to install the themes. im useing skins installer for .pskn themes and super assistant for .mtf themes. just to make sure i dont do anything with the .skn file right? thanks

    @ltepperson

    defaintely changes if it's changed in the iconres file. but very few theme creators actually CHANGE the signal strength meter (usually you'll only find a color change to go along with the theme). you can always extract the iconres and replace it with one that you like better. sometimes the screenshots don't show the theme in its FINAL version, so a pic may show one thing but the actual .pskn file contains slight variation

    Change these Sbar_RSSI1.g there is 5 of them starting with this one. The red number is the only one thats different in each one like 1-5 the rest in black stay's the same.
