BobyTux! Theme [Little Preview]

I'm working on this theme...hope I could get a little help...I can get the icons transparency....but I will still work on it.

If someone like to help me with it...eakrin? I would appreciate it...

This is the Beta version of the BobyTux theme, I hope you like it, and if you have comments or sugestions, post it here for the next or final version. It's a beta version so you could find a lot of errors so please let me know....

yes...I'm g0nna modify that, it's only a preview....I'm still working on the icons too...but a need I little of help on that....

What is your problem? a transpirency icon. Phone doesnot 100% support transpirency icon due to a messy screen drawing routine. if you use transpirency icon you 'll face this problem on a screen-component icons (GNB, Button, etc)

1. screen doesn't clear lower layer before drawing icon.
2. screen draw all black in lower layer. does not clear it.

only icon that you can make transpirency are Home_XXX
. I didn't try all another icons need to test.

maybe the best way is use a fake transpirency like your template skin macosx leopard. just insert background under transpirency icon.

I'm talking about the transparency of the app icons such as the browser or, calendar or email...I'm having trouble making those gif look good...because you can see some dark line or white line around the icon, and that's not what I want...I want a clean icon for the apps....

I face that problem too. and I 'm not a photo editor expert. most of my friend that work on graphic design said just remove it. but when I complete remove it. Icon edge will crack. so the best solution for me is set matte color to the same color as blending color + wallpaper color. It's a eye fake technic. or you need a pixel drawing to correct this problem.

This problem is occur from Phone screen use while 256 color rendering icon and skin. It does not use 262k color rendering. Not ways to correct this problem only do your best.

Its a great looking theme. Personally, only thing that I would change is to have the scroll bar and the bottom menu bar match the status bar with that darker blue color. Either way, its very nice looking, thanks!

SBar Scroll bar and CST need the same design for a good looking skin.

and another comment from me is your GNB, icon is cool but background does not look enough interest. it look very simply.

The Difficultest part of Design new Skin is a *.skn file. every component should have the same concept design. (I'm not good at english to explain this in eng.) example is my Lamborghini skin, Buttons, SBar, CST are in yellow with black edge or vise versa. so another component I use the same yellow + black edge. this can make user feel Lamborghini in every screen.

Think about a Football uniform. some have Red+white, some have yellow + blue + white, some have red + black strip, etc.
