TWUIK revolutionary ui(forget mpkg aided theme installar)

I found J2ME Polish, microEWT and Fire J2ME for j2me user interface. both are GPL. J2ME Polish and Fire J2ME have well documents. but most of them does not beautiful UI like TWUIK.

ok a positive of java that can run on every phone that has java but it willl need much more power of the phone -when i see that i use e.g. opera mini browser or a game for a longer time of continue use it a fully charged battery will go flat after 2 - 5 hours!

i think it will much better when phone producer should make such an eye-candy menu app NATIVELY and not on top of the java engine -it should be so natively like the menu of the real iPhone.

ok V8, E2 and Z6 (Juix phones) has a Java menu natively i think...

the TWUIK looks good but its not very usable in the function because about the restrictions of the phones java engine that has not all functions like the phone native menu.

hmm,.. a java video player app will take lots of power of the battery i think.
i remeber that the e398 of my friend had an java based mp3 player. that player needs lots of power, so after 30min - 60in the battery was flat and it did not work that well.

an interesting question comes to my mind,but may be it is stupid. n e way,let me tell you, i know very little about java. i know that applications running on java eats up lots of batt life, but if twuik uses java, then can we use other java apps simultaneously? coz ming(at least mine - .08p) does not allow two java app to run at the same time. how can be that going to be managed?

no motorola and other phones can run more than one java app at the same time...

so far i know nokia symbian phones can run more than one java app at the same time..

Multiple java apps can be made to run on MING. u need a small app to do this for you.PatchAM - PKG utility that allows you to run more than 1 java app at a time Only works on .24p firmware!

yep i agree that java eat a lot of power, slow running, can run only 1 instant. but can we develop application in another platform like QT or EZX? phone age is only 1-2 years. how long should we wait for EZX SDK for phone or how long that we use to hack a SDK. until now nobody can get EZX SDK and look like motorola does not want to release official EZX SDK too.

so I think now we should look forward to create many of touch screen J2ME app. coz It's well documents and fast develop than ezx app. if not we still Lack of app on our phone. until the day that we get a EZX SDK after that we can go QT/C++.
