help releasing a new skin

hey all,

After all my questions, i have finally made my self a skin. Thanks to every one who helped me out. i need a little more help though. the skin is almost done, but its basically got the wrong name. when i made it, i used the NEO_RED skin as my base. so as of now the skin is still called NEO_RED. while it seems to be obvious that all i need to do is replace the name NEO_RED for the .pskn,.skn, i know that i have to modify the lin file as well. and id rather stay away from that, and let someone who knows what they are doing modify it. any takers?

If you don't know how to edit .lin file try create a pskn in Skin installer style. see detail in my theme like Chlorophyll.

thanks for coming to the rescue again eakrin, i had a look at your theme, could you be a bit more specific on what im supposed to do?i have these file already:

.pskn
.skn
icons.ezx

are you saying instead of installing it with lin loader, use your skin installer?

You have to slightly modify .pskn file and to rename icons.ezx to iconres.ezx .
If you don't know how to modify .pskn file feel free to send it to me and I'll do it for you.

BTW your theme would be great if you change the folder icons in file manager to a simple black folder...

thanks for your help, and advice for the skin.will try it later. i am definitely open to ideas about the skin, i don't suppose you would have a sample of a black folder to use? or should i maybe re use the icon for file manager?and have little folders in side? a
