Default XT720 Text Message Reply Help

Does anyone know how to remove the +0000000000: string in the reply to field when replying to a txt msg that was sent to your XT720 by email? My website sends my friend a txt message addressed as 10digits@gocbw.com. This is the Cincinnati Bell SMS gateway. When she hits reply she sees +0000000000:sms@mywebsite.com in the reply to field, so when she hits send, it never gets to my website since it's an invalid email address. Is there a way to configure the XT720 so the +00000000: string doesn't show up, just the email address?

I dont think thats the problem of the phone, from what I understand, u are using a website to send messages (for free), these websites use your network provider's servers to send message with their own signatures so that the servers allow them to do so. The name (signature) in the text message address seems to be working as a promotional tool for them, like 160by2 has advertisements at the end and way2sms has a 'send via way2sms' written at the end of the message. When ur friend replies she'll have to text you back from your contact directly, the other option would be to look for other websites (two mentioned above) they send ur actual phone number in the address line, although I am not sure how many of these websites provide their services in your country.

The problem is with the carrier, Cincinnati Bell. Their tech support told me that string (+0000000000 is added to the front of the email address by them and it is not removable by the phone. I said you folks do realize that string contains invalid email characters and therefore, the reply will always fail? What this means, is that if a website sends a Cincinnati Bell customer a text message via their gateway (which means in an email address format), the customer will get the message but will be unable to reply. I told the support rep to tell their engineers they need to remove that string so their customers can reply!
