Milestone is Slow After 2.2.1 Froyo update - Need suggestion

Hi All,

I updated my milestone recently to 2.2.1 froyo, for few days it was fine, but now the performance has slow down. I was running Go LauncherEX , had uninstalled that aswell, still i face performace issue. Can any one guide me what can be done. below are the current concequences.
1. Internal memory is too low as 30MB
2. Few apps are on SD (2GB card), Approx 100MB free on SD Card.
3. Running on Airtel Edge services for all Syncs, GMAIL, FB, CONTACTs are always sync.
4. BatteryFu, Adoa task Manager and 3G watch dog services all times.

let me know, what can be the next step,
Since my milestone is out of warranty, now i'm thinking of overclock and custom rom. guide me please.

Highly upset with the slow UI after dexter's froyo update!
I donno if its just me, but I wanna go back to the stock 2.1 and wait for the official 2.2 release!
Can someone tell me how to go back?

@Anand, your's is XT720. You can flash back to Original 2.1. It s very simple to flash back to stock XT720 firmware...
