    not at all you can download uk firmware as uk has the same language we use on most of our phones

    I am not sure about that but the one who posted on XDA-Developers said like that

    they are all 2.1 so... there might be least difference in all may be few apps or something like that

    I found those firmwares uploaded on some websites... I personally doesn't suggest to flash unknown firmwares but if you can't find anything on internet than you have to go for something that is unknown

    they are firmwares of XT720 but from unknown source ...

    How about using nandroid backup from open recovery?
    As in from someone else's xt720?

    well I think flashing others nandroid backup or giving yours nandroid backup is a good idea

    you can flash the firmware... that is a better option

    Bro, I would like to thank you, I appreciate your support for my queries. I've successfully flashed back to stock 2.1 UK, and I faced absolutely no issues (Not even the firmware being for another country). It works perfect and metaphorically speaking, the phone is like reincarnated. :P
    I m willing to help others who want to flash back too!
