unable to start wifi

hi all

I'm quite worried, my wifi fails to start. I noticed it yesterday, but just restarted and then it worked. now it only sometimes works after a restart, but right now it won't start.

my phone is android 2.1 and is rooted. I moved my apps to the SD card using App2Card yesterday, and ruled that out as the reason because my wifi didn't work before I did that, now I don't know what to do.

if it comes to having to take it in, I need to most likely get the phone back to how I got it. I'm using firmware 2.1-update1, build SHOLS_U2_02.36.0

please give me some good news, I don't feel like hassling now.

Try removing the network from the list and set it manually all over again.

not long after my post yesterday my wifi started working again. but today it's back to not working. thanks Konig, but I can't see any network because the wifi doesn't start so I can't even scan for networks.
