Default SBF and flashing tools for the milestone

Wanna create custom SBF for your milestone but have no tool to do so ?

    Well now you can

    SBF / MBN Depacker

The latest version (1.2 ALPHA 3) is availabe for .NET 3.5 here
Supports repacking for the Milestone SBF, including the checksum recalculation.

    Here it is :

    SBF-Recalc

The latest SBF-Recalc (1.2.9.1) is available for windows here 1): http://www.megaupload.com/?d=Y8RDIZGA
Previous version 1.2.9 for windows and OS X: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=7J9EOZT0
Previous version 1.2.9 for Linux 2): http://www.megaupload.com/?d=03M0GM36 Note: Everything works except checksums recalculating. RSD Lite prints the correct ones in its log though, so the SBF file can be edited by hand to use those CRC codes if really needed (by tryout & error).

    And the infamous RSDlite (4.6)

(if you have newer version please share )

    Default SBF tools

with this tool, is it possible to shoehorn the final release of 2.2 into the practically ANY .sbf firmware files?

if anyone could point me in the right direction, I have the time to experiment

I'm interested in putting it into perhaps, version .36 .sbf files

    = )))

so the bootloader will check "in detail" the contents of the .sbf files to the extent that changing the CG39 .img files to alter the android system wouldn't make a difference?

Sorry, just a naive thought. damn the bootloader

Wow, this is one big step in the direktion I'm looking. Thank you DaG8!

...but is there a way to open and repack the CG files for editing? The Cygwin/cramfsck method I used with EZX seems not to work here

    Or did I miss something?
