The backups in new format (there is a file "*.md5" file for each partition) go to folder /sdcard/nandroid/openrecovery/.
!!!FROYO NOTE!!!
When flashing 2.1 image from 2.2.1 installed firmware and vice versa, restore always ALL PARITIONS!
Themes suplied -> OpenRecovery, Stock ...
Also Squirtle theme supplied (not on the screenshot).

hi, i'm pretty new to all this cell phone business so i'm especially new to android phones. i have already rooted my milestone and updated it to 2.1 plus i can now overclock it to around 1.35ghz so i think that's pretty cool but still when i read about things like this custom recovery i never understand straight away how i have to do things. so my question is, what is the difference between the ADB recovery and the SP recovery. which file is which? also, do i need both because the modified android recovery downloads but the custom update package does not. i really am a newb but i'm trying to learn so please any help at all would be really appreciated. oh yea, do i just load this like when i had to root my phone?? thanks in advance
Hi ,
I am not sure what the difference is between sprecovery and adbrecovery , I know everyone who owns the stone uses adbrecovery , so you might wanna ignore sprecovery , in fact I think its just a question of taste , I know the Droid users mostly use sprecovery ....
You dont need the source since it is for development purposes only, maybe the package link doesnt work anymore because there is an updated version made by Skrilax_CZ ...
and yes you do apply it the same way you applied root witch means you put the folder and the update.zip in the root of your sdcaed and boot into recovery and then apply update.zip.
***** There is a new version of it out I will update the first post with it .You might wanna try the LMF version popsted here : ( there is also a newer version of it but the one I posted (last link fully works and has all the bootanimations and themes in it )
