    oh.. okay..

    anyway, something to ask you, and sugget, for version 3.3 oops :P

    since are able to extract someone else's icon from their theme, it would be nice to recreate their theme back to original without the icons, so that his theme can be reused, and then name the theme originaltheme.mtf

    since u understand the whole thing already, sldn't be a problem eh. hehe

    oh yea, why ain't the diska and ezxlocal folders created by ur program deleted after integrating? juz wondering..

    OOHH
    the frame lines are behind the icons, meaning, we can use icons to cover up the frames man hee

    only thing it'll take a long time

    or maybe can use wallpaper, cut up and put along the icons, but will take hell lots of calculation.

    I know there are almost windows user outsite using the e680 thats why no one uses my tools
    But may be i can give you (yantz) a hint for one of the next versions.
    Because i'm afraid of booting windows on my notebook i have tried to find a solution for creating a theme file (*.mtf) under Linux without the help of the Motorola Skin Tool from the delivered CD.

    Therefore i have created a Directory with several subdirs:

    -Theme
    - ThemeBackgroundPicture
    - ThemeIconDir
    - ThemePowerDownImage
    - ThemeSoundFileLine2
    - ThemeMsgAlertFile
    - ThemePowerUpImage
    - ThemeTextSize
    - ThemeGeneralAlertFile
    - ThemeSoundFileLine1
    - ThemeWallpaperFile

    and the following text files
    - ThemeName
    - ThemeColor

    In every subdir i put the sound file or the imagefile that should be the ringtone or the background image.
    The ThemeName text file consists only the name of my new theme. The ThemeColor text file consists the follofing:

    [THEME_COLOR_PALETTE_TABLE]
    ThemeBackground = 222 210 197
    ThemeBase = 222 210 197
    ThemeHighlight = 222 50 36
    ThemeForeground = 56 75 196
    ThemeText = 56 75 196
    ThemeButtonText = 56 75 196
    ThemeHighlightedText = 222 210 197
    ThemeTitleText = 56 75 196
    ThemeButton = 222 210 197
    ThemeActiveButton = 50 94 171
    ThemeLine = 50 94 171

    In ThemeIconDir i put the iconres.ezx file.

    After filling every subdir, tuning the name oh the theme and adjusting the color i call a script that creates the theme file (mtf) from the described structure above.

    So i can create under Linux my iconres.ezx file with all the lovely icons from the great Mac and KDE themes with my motoiconchanger program and can create a new theme file from scratch.

    I hope you get what it. May be it is an inspiration for future development of yantz program

    no one use yours??!! hehe yours got more download than mine!!

    anyway, your idea is very good, for someone without motorola theme assistant. but it can be quite difficult to visualise line colors without seeing it in gui. thats why we still uses mta. actually i was on the process of creating a full online creator, but the project got postponed because of pb btw, have you tried it? its an awesome piece of software ever created for mobile!!

    in fact i think i learnt/get an idea from it. every single document viewed, whether its pdf or excel or word or webpage, what the program actually do is create bmp on the fly!! yes it create bmp on the fly!! i check the history folder and it contains all the documents/webpages i opened/viewed in bmp format! this gives me the idea that perhaps we can make a sort of screen capture program, using imagemagik maybe?!

    on Linux i use kcolorchooser to select the color. These are RGB values.
