How to check ezxlocal space and how to clear it.

ezxlocal cannot access by storage mode and can't see in phone's file manager. so how can we check ezxlocal available space before installing new theme. normaly you can use df command in Qonsole to get ezxlocal availabe space. but there is easy way is to use EzxCheck.mpkg

EzxCheck is a lin script that pack into mpkg and use to display ezxlocal available space by ezxdialog (ezxdialog was created by rpconnect)

how to install EzxCheck (only on E680i/A780)
1. install Linloader
2. Install ezxdialog.mtf (include in EzxCheck package)
3. install EzxCheck.mpkg by MPKG Installer.

how to use EzxCheck
just tap on EzxCheck icon. dialog 'll display available space of ezxlocal.

because of ezxlocal have small space. after install and uninstall themes some of them still remain in your ezxlocal folder. you can use Delete all theme script to clear it all.

How to use Delete all Theme script.
1. change to default phone theme.
2. tap on delete_all_theme.lin in phone's file manager. and phone will beep
3. waiting for beep beep. then delete all theme finish to clear theme from ezxlocal.

this is a really nice app, hopefully it will help new users out so that they can check the status of ezxlocal before they install a theme and then flod the forum with questions regarding how to fix it.

also, i have an updated version of ezxdialog that you might find useful. i added the option that if you include another parameter to the call it will display an "okay" button to keep the dialog box up until the user clicks "okay"; its a bit more useful for displaying information that the user might want to see without having to force a long time-out on the dialog; plut the user can close it as soon as they want.

the updated ezxdialog should be backwards compatable.

i will try to post it to the ezx tips and tricks thread as soon as I can.

I follow this step, but there are no icon appear, why?

I change the ezxCheck.mpkg to EzxCheck.pkg and tap it and open with the Flower icon, nothing happen. How to correctly install this?

MPKG Installer icon is computer (like installer icon in windows) not a flower.

flower.jar is use to refresh icon after installed mpkg package by install flower.jar and uninstall it.

I tab the EzxCheck.mpkg and tab the "install" command. But nothing happen, there are no new Icon. Is this way correct?

what is you phone model and did you flash your phone.

A780/E680i+optimize A780 : can install mpkg in the same way like java. by tap on it's file in file manager.

normal E680i : install MPKG Installer before. and
1. rename package from .mpkg to .pkg
2. open .pkg with MPKG Installer (computer icon)
3. install flower.jar (chinese name that icon is a flower) or
change order of icon or restart phone.

i have followed your installation steps:
1. install Linloader(installed previously by motorola)
2. Install ezxdialog.mtf (include in EzxCheck package)----> dunno what this means, i have installed mtf.mpkg before,a bep bep bep will ring if i run the mtf icon then(actually i don't understand what this mtf.mpkg is,can you halp me fiure out?)
3. install EzxCheck.mpkg by MPKG Installer---->later i install this and success,..the ezcheck icon appears,.but while i run it ...cannot run,...nothing appear,nothing change,.....
any steps i miss?

ezxdialog was develop by rpconnect. I just use it in my EzxCheck. detail of ezxdialog should wait for rpconnect to answer.
