this app is from topic [App] INSTHEME (update 04/09/08 ) - Motorola Funs Club - MFUNs - Modding your life of NTA. it's very good for all type themes
You can open with : *.lin, *.pkg, *.mtf, *.sh, *.pksn,*.ttf, *.phm. automatic install theme when you run file *.pskn

Run instheme, click OnlySkin and select themefolder (move 3 files *.pskn, *.skn, iconres.ezx into this folder) if you only want to install skin.
Click Full Ins if you want to change BootImage (add new on.gif/off.gif in themefolder); wallpaper(desk.jpg or desk.gif..) change shortcut button (move files ezx_idle.cfg, ezx_hardkey.cfg in foldertheme) ;
only FW's NTA: change font (myfont.ttf); volume (ezx_volumetable.cfg) sound startup (startup.wav )

Chương trình có chức năng chính như sau:
Cài đặt theme bằng cách chọn thư mục chứa theme (gồm 2 dạng)
- Cài theme bình thường (skin) ko có ảnh nền tắt/mở: Chọn OnlySkin>Hiện ra danh sách các thư mục trên phone sau đó chỉ đến vị trí thư mục chứa theme để bắt đầu cài đặt theme)
- Cài theme nâng cao gồm 3 file: on.gif/off.gif để hiện ảnh tắt/mở phone và desk.jpg(hoặc desk.gif, desk.bmp,desk.gif)để hiện wallpaper cho theme.
--+ file ezx_idle.cfg (File thay đổi 4 biểu tượng ngoài),file ezx_hardkey.cfg (file thay đổi 2 nút tắt của phone)
--+ Ngoài ra bạn có thể cài thêm các file myfont.ttf (thay đổi font của máy trong lần khởi động sau), file ezx_volumetable.cfg (để chỉnh volume của phone), file startup.wav (Để thay nhạc khởi động của phone) (Các chức năng này chỉ có thể áp dụng với FW by NTA)
- Có thể Mở OpenWith với các file *.lin, *.pkg, *.mtf, *.sh, *.pksn,*.ttf, *.phm
+ khi mở với file *.Pskn ct sẽ tự động tìm các file liên quan để cài vào máy 1 cách tự động
Lưu ý:
- Thư mục chứa theme phải là thư mục có chứa ít nhất 3 file sau và đặt trong cùng 1 thư mục
+ xxx.skn (xxx có thể là tên theme)
+ iconres.ezx
+ xxx.pskn để hiển thị đúng màu chữ của theme hơn.
- Các file nói ở trên phải đặt trong cùng 1 thư mục chứa theme (nếu theme tải về có file pskn ko nằm chung với các file còn lại thì bạn cần move nó vào cùng thư mục với file *.skn và iconress.ezx để cài đặt)
-Mỗi lần cài theme chỉ đuợc 1 theme duy nhất.
- Để gỡ bỏ theme ra khỏi máy bật Instheme lên đợi khoảng 10s sẽ hiện ra thông báo là tìm thấy theme MTF đang đươc cài. Chọn Yes để gỡ bỏ theme hiện tại. Sau đó vào Setup>Color Scheme để đổi lại theme của hệ thống.

i tested it for 2 days now & it's great..
tapped on the skin folder & it simply detects .pskn file inside it..
but i haven't test the complete theme installation yet..

I Luv the app,but it still has a problem with themes that need a double install to work. I think it's still very good work an everyone should try this it's a great app.

I dont have anything to test it on now, but it looks like the skin installer from wondermoto. is it?

Does this app fill up the phone memory and freeze the phone like some other installers if u install 2 themes on a row?

Hey, really great app. In fact, i found it preinstalled in some firmware out there, which ddvn had posted; and then i specifically made a request to post just the app here because i was flashing out of it.

no, this app'll automatic uninstall old theme and install new theme
