I've been searching thoroughly through all of the forums here trying to find out the specifics on the dhm files that are included in the theme files. Because I don't have access to Moto's Theme Assistant (since I'm an A780 owner) I'm hoping someone can explain to me the color mappings in the dhm file. An example is below:
[THEME_COLOR_PALETTE_TABLE]
ThemeBackground = 222 210 197
ThemeBase = 222 210 197
ThemeHighlight = 222 50 36
ThemeForeground = 56 75 196
ThemeText = 56 75 196
ThemeButtonText = 56 75 196
ThemeHighlightedText = 222 210 197
ThemeTitleText = 56 75 196
ThemeButton = 222 210 197
ThemeActiveButton = 50 94 171
ThemeLine = 50 94 171
I understand that the values are just RGBs, but I'm having a hard time figuring out where on the display each of those values are represented. Say for instance that on my A780, ck3lam's blue theme shows drop-down lists with a white background (255,255,255) and white highlighted text (thus invisible). Would I change the ThemeHighlight or the ThemeHighlightedText to fix something like that? Also, some dialog boxes (such as the time picker when adding a new appointment or the alarm clock) have white text on a white background, and therefore, is very hard to see what hour/minute the appointments or alarm is set to. Which would those values fall under? ThemeText? ThemeForeground?
Is there a way for non E680 owners to get ahold of Moto's Theme Assistant? I couldn't find it on their site for d/l.
Thanks.

Thanks for the tip. I'll check out your modified theme. But if anyone could still explain the above to me, it would be highly appreciated![]()
not all fields are exported to ezx_theme.cfg. to do your own trial and error, edit ezx_theme.cfg and restart phone to see the effect.
Ah, that helps tremendously. ThanksOriginally Posted by yantz
