Ill respod to the second question right now.
The problem with the status bar is in the .skn file. See the upper right hand side of the .skn file, thats where you will see the little black line. Erase it from there, and apply the theme

in the gif editor theres a eraser icon,just erase the backround,and it will become transparent when you save it,the gif editor is easy to use and you can make a animation there.or send me the icon and ill edit it for you.
