Well.... The first 2 are incorrect. MMS and Video Recording can be done with a few mods. I still think Apple is waiting to SELL us software to do these things in the future, Just like skins and themes are only do-able on Jailbroken phones, But since it is do-able, Apple must know about it and they are probably working on their own software to do this. A few more months and I think we will see some of this stuff in the App Store.

bla blah blaa.....if your RAISING the bar on the industry, the BASICS that have been around pretty much FOREVER should be available at launch.....this is ESPECIALLY true of SECOND generation devices....but then again, THAT's why Apple is so profitable, they make sure they can SELL you whatever it is they need SEPERATELY (and Apple users continue to LET them operate this way, so seems like a good biz plan to me!! LOL)

You mean I was supposed to call someone with this thing? I wondered what all that ringing noise was Apple has thier reasons for doing what they did, And like you, im sure it has something to do with making $$$. But as for now, the iPhone will always win the 'Can your phone do this' War. Show me multi-touch on any other phone

even with all of the admittedly cool things capable with the iphone, i STILL get more WOW from people when they see my OLD MING....iphones are like pennies now, EVERYONE has one....i've STILL not run into anyone that has a MING or E6...and EVERYONE that sees my MING is still pretty impressed....i DO think that HTC Touch HD will be the 1st REAL iphone competitor when it arrives....

Well thats certainly true, Especially with the iPhone 3G being only $199, they have become pretty common. Nobody had ever seen my E6 before. I just noticed you have an iPhone on your sig. Welcome to the club.

SLOOOOOW down iguy!! i have had it for about 3 weeks and havent even taken it outta the BOX ta play with yet LOL!! it's a 1st gen 8GB that i got from a friend that won it at her medical conference and didn't want it (uses a trio for work, the iphone still has issues with exchange and her IT dept refuses to support it)

i just got my hands on a few other toys and until i get a chance to play with them a little, i wont even GET to the iphone LOL
