I picked this one up last night and played it for about at hour, so here is my thoughts:

Life starts very simple, you are an amoeba swimming through primordial ooze, eating tadpole shaped creatures and trying to avoid being eaten by things bigger than you. Eating Smaller things fills up your DNA bar to advance to the next level. You gain Evolution points to use to add Offensive/Defensive and movement parts.

The creature editor is pretty nice with a ton of color options, even using your own pictures as texture. Pinch and pull on the thing to change its shape and add the new body parts pretty much wherever you want.

Game play is fairly simple using the accelerometer to move, it didnt take long to get the hang of it.

Ive made it to about level 12 so far, and im still eating tadpoles and a few bigger creatures now. The enemies are getting a bit tougher, with big spikes and poison darts.

so far its pretty fun, and worth the purchase
