You find 2 ways: unnnofcial by qm2any, and official by Chien.
We (russian community) build full russian langugage for 1200 and e6 by first way using guide what i provide in this thread.

So this qm2any, i downloaded it and there is a *.pl file, i don't know what i should do with it, i made preview with winrar and notepad and I don't see anything interesting.
Maybe someone will do a tutorial sth, like about flashing etc. that is sticky ? That step by step show me what I need to do...
Polish translation would be nice, and what about special symbols i mean

"ś,ć,ź,ą"

after read this thread for a long time. now I test it. It's worked

my question it. Is it possible to add new translation word. I try to add more application menu item (method from menu.pkg) and need to translate it too.

Have you tried to use language files from https://opensource.motorola.com/sf/f...tring_ts_files ?
I've started to translate them using linguist and now I'm in half a way ahead, but recently read in some other thread on https://opensource.motorola.com/sf/d...ze=-1#post2012 that there's a problem with so prepared a1200 qm files as they have different hash.
I don't like the idea to make the re-work of all I've done so far. No mention editing with linguist is somehow more user friendly ;]

I tried to release translated .ts files with linguist to .qm, and run your script on them but I got "Unknown record type: 08 at /cygdrive/j/qm2any.pl line 83." error all the time.
Does not matter if .ts file was created on linux or on windows (I thought it could have something to do with end-of-line signs, but I guess I'm wrong).
