Hi,

I bought a ROKR E6 this week and it came with the arabic firmware. Is there anything I can do to help?

Also, I don't need the arabic support, so, would I loose any other functionality if I flash the phone with one of the older firmwares?

Hi amin,

I just tried the procedure. At the end of the flashing I got a FAIL message from RSD Lite, but I tried turning the phone on and everything seemed all right (I also saw a new USB mode: USBNET, so I supposed it flashed correctly). The only problem is that when I try to run FlashDump, I get the "Invalid application file" error.

I'll try to flash again and let you know.

Ok, tried the procedure one more time, and again, no success when trying to run the FlashDump.

BTW, the error I get from RSD Lite is the same salehram described before: something about a RAM Loader not being supplied).

I used RSD Lite version 4.2+patch. And didn't found the Motorola_USB_Drivers mentioned in the flashing guide, so installed the file from Handset_USB_Driver_32_v2.9.0.zip (it's an .msi, not a compressed folder as mentioned in the guide). Please let me know if any of this could be the cause of the error.

u may try latest version,

APP: Portable RSDLite v4.1.exe - no needs install

APP: Motorola USB Drivers v3.5.0 for Windows (32bit 64bit)

I'm trying to create an sbf file with pre installed flash dump, i hope it'll work

dellsonic: thanks for the links, as soon as I can find a Windows computer to use I will try the procedure again with those apps.

amin: I downloaded the MPKG from here[0] and tried installing the GBA emulator, didn't work, same error as before: "Invalid application file". I'll be waiting for your new sbf.
