Hi folks,
i'm a newbie in playing with my e680i but i would say i'm an expert in using of linux, scripting shell, perl and programming apps in C. Maybe i can help to support some features for my phone in feature.
I found an easy way in Wiki on the startpage how to get some apps working on my phone without flashing it. The trick is a simple shellscript called lin_loader.
Ok the step by step installation seems to be easy, i thougt but no way.....![]()
i found after installation an icon for startup linloader and i tried the simple test.lin example. I believe there is no shell on my firmware or is'nt in /bin or there are some problems with user rights, i don't know exactly?
I tried out some things, setting a line to "sleep 20" to find out if lin_loader blocks for the time of 20 second -> because shell will working. But that's make no difference.
Can someone tell me how can i fix it or if i forgot something. Where can i find information about actually firmware version on my e680i?
I don't need flashing hacked firmware for that right?
PS: On my pc is Suse running because , my gentoo is'nt available for the moment.

I'm not enough time to build my own crosscompiler. Maybe someone can prog a simple executable with name lin_laoder. It should list filesystem from / in file /diska/test1.txt. Maybe i will find out why it will not working.
Another way, is a small tool in java witch execute the lin_loader script. The second way to find out where the are mistake.
But i can'nt writing apps in java.
