I tried it too, in winxp, didnt work, stucks on dialing with me too.
After lot of reading and searching I didn't find out if someone make work LeoPPP over bluetooth on E680i under windows (XP sp2)??
I have SPP connection and btppp_start sais PPP over blueTooth started.
/tmp/ppp.log sais "Using interface ppp0", "Connectpp0<-->/dev/pts/1" but ping 192.168.1.4 doesn't work and ifconfig has only inet addr:127.0.0.1 (no ppp0)
Anyone made it work? Any help?
When I try dial using Null modem from leopardus2 it also inicials SPP bt connection, and sais Dialing... but result is the same as direct SPP connection.
Thanks for any advice.

Yes, but does it run Linux?
yup another unsuccesful attempt here. i dont think we can make it work in xp sp2![]()
Another one
with DUN Manager http://www.magsys.co.uk/dunman/ I can skip call waiting (dialing) but I stuck on Authentification. Is there anything I can do about that?
Yes, switch to Linux![]()
I'm not comfortable with Linux. On my linux RadHat 9 I'm unable to make work Bluetooth dongle, not even my USB Cable modem. I may try Mandrake when I have time.
But I still think there has to be a way to make PPP over BTooth on Windows
last year i used suse 9.0pro with Kbluetooth and my old nokia 7650 it worked wery well... i havnt tryed it with the e680, but it should work too...
