    Hi.. i need to know if theres any way to edit the bands for e680i to work in 850mhz.. i know that in p2k phones it works.. by editing seems.. is this possible for e680i linux phones too ? thanks .

    Of curse it's possible, you have to download the seems 0032 0001, 0025 0001 and 0171 0001. Edit with P2Kseem (I don't remember wich offset are... sorry), and upload again...

    My e680i is quad-band 850/1900 900/1800, and it works perfectly. (In Argentina the useful band is 850 mhz)

    if you want, I can put in RapidShare my seems.

    i have modded the seems (0025_0001 0171_0001) and my phone now detects the local service provider on the 850 Mhz band, it even shows the Quad band GSM on the info screen, but when i insert a 850 Mhz SIM, it does not detect it. Any one has acces to a SEEM map for this phone?

    An update: i have now a quad band e680i that can register to the 850 mhz band and receive calls, for some reason it does not make calls, but it is a little progress.
