Change the brightness and contrast of the phone

On the EZX Player 0.9 we can change the brightness and contrast of the videos. It makes the image of the videos much better!

My question is: is there any way to change the brightness and contrast of the whole phone? Because my native brightness is on the maximum level and I think it is still dark.

i dont think so there is but if some one makes it it will be good
because i cant c anything in sun wheras my nokia 6630 is crystal clear
i think its hardwares fault not software
anyways it will be good if some1 can make a software that allows brightness that will make better display in sun

I don't think it is hardware because, as I said before, we can change it when use the EZX Player 0.9. Maybe there is a config file that manage this settings on the phone, I suppose...
