I would like to caution everyone interested in trying out the 8gb SD cards. Almost everything I've read on the subject indicates that these cards use a new type of compression (SDHC). That being the case, these articles also state that many current devices may not be able to take advantage of these cards, because they simply can't support it. Whether it's formatted in FAT, FAT16, or FAT32, it still will be SDHC compression. If someone has any thouhts on this, especially ones that prove me wrong, that would rock. Cause I really want to put an 8gb card in my phone right now!
