    Default Speaker Problems!

Hey my speakers aren't playing my music and I haven't been able to hear anything when I call people, can someone help me fix this problem? I'm getting really frustrated because it plays my ringtones, but it won't play my music or let me hear others when I'm on the phone. PLEASE if you have any info that might help, share =D thank you.

Did you try using the hands-free?? just plug it, wait for few seconds and unplug it. Remember when you unplug it, see to it that you hear the unplugged sound. hopefully that should solve the problem.

  4. Default MORE speaker issues...

i seem to be having the same problem with my phone. but plugging in and unplugging the handsfree things doesn't work.
it seems as though the phone is under the impression that the headphone set is plugged in all the time, becuase the alarm sounds when i set it and the radio function (which is only supposed to turn on when the headset is plugged in) turns on.
when i do plug in the headset that works fine. i can listen to music no problem.
    please help me!
i REALLY want to be able to hear things again!!!

    i tried it...
    and it didn't do anything.

but then i was like kind of moving the plastic near where the headset plugs in and it made the "boop-da-boop" noise that means the headphones have been plugged in and unplugged in.

    but it's still not working.
i think it's a hardware issue, i think teh phone's headphone connector DOES "think" that the headphones are always plugged in.
but i don't know how to fix it.

    Default possible solution

my phone has the same problem.. i think it is the earphone connector

try using a needle to stimulate the connector hole, with the phone facing yourself, reach right side of the connector hole carefully, after some beep, i think u'll eventually fixed the problem

but if the phone still have guarantee, i think bringing it to the motorola service center will be a smart choice.

I used to have this problem on my E680i. I solved it by trying the said method of plugging in and out of the jack. I think i did that in a fast pace till i hear the confirmation click.

    Cheers
