I Flashed the phone to e680g BUT...

...i cant start up it really...

i flashed to e680g(branded) with the MultiFlashFlex Tool and the flash worked 100% OK, but when i switch on the phone the motorola logo shows in the screen, then the china mobile logo shows for a while, but after that it switch off again.

i flashed the phone a second time but same problem..

I thinhk your fone is E 680
you have to find cg33 for e 680

heu i think you forgot to replace the cg33 patch for e680 here : http://www.craigs-crib.com/downloads...chfont_2.0.zip read the instruction !!!!!

as I noticed you, you "must" replace cg33 original by cg33 modded for E 680 (not E 680i)

hmmm.....

i read the doc file from the cg33 but the cg33 is a .smg file so how and whit what can i flash it?
the PST and the MFF can't load that file, also i can't access the mem-card either because the phone does NOT start up.

or how can i add/replace the modded e680 cg33 to the big flash file?


please explean exactly. i m NOT a pro!

hmm.. it seems that i have NO luck..

after 2 times trying to flash the phone to e680g and one time to e680i which failed and want flash to e680g again BUT the MultiFlashFlex says "Failed" at the begin and can not flash it again.
the bootloader still starts but cant erease the flash-mem of the phone.

is that the end of my e680?

i think the firmware was corrupt thats y the pst says failed at the beginning of the flash.try to download the fw again.

the e680i FW was corrupt i think.. but not the e680g one which i want to flash again.

1. i flashed the e680g = 100% OK but it didnt start up (only to china mobile pic)
2. i flashed the e680g again = 100% OK but it didnt start up (same problem as the 1.)
3. i flashed the e680i = Failed at the end and it didnt start up (only to the moto logo pic)
4. i flashed the e680g again = Failed at begin and can not erease the e680i FW from the phone.

so i think its the end of my e680 and have to use a SE J200 or a Nokia 8250 until i have money to buy another nice phone.

Wow, that really sucks. This is the main reason why I'm scared to flash my phone. I remember reading in another post that you finally decided to flash your phone after a long time of contemplating.

if you want to flash a E680 to a E680I /G , you will have to replace CG33 while flashing (that is , overwrite the file when it says erasing flash while using MultiFlashFlex) or, you can try downloading E680I C5A4P firmware. you can flash it directly on E680, but the firmware is a bit old tha'ts it..
