Introduce Threesearch C5 AE localization 3.0

All modifications are put in memory card. There will be a folder vllp.sourceforge.net in memory card, you can customize everything in this folder as you wish. For example you can customize startup tone, startup animation, font, icon, dircolor, root's profile...

1. startupscript
When the phone starts, all scripts in this folder will be executed.

2. startuptone
When the phone starts, startup.wav or startup.mp3 will be played.

3. telnet
There is a file autotelnet.on in this folder. Rename it to autotelnet.off if you don't want the phone auto switch to telnet mode when connect to PC.

4. system/cron
Cronjob run hourly, daily, weekly or monthly. Refer to readme.txt file in this folder to know how to setup cronjob.

5. system/lib and system/bin
Put all ezx library and binary files here. Developers may find these folders are useful for them to test their applications.

6. etc
There is a file DIR_COLORS in this folder. Customize it to change folder colors when telnet to the phone.

7. etc/hotplug
There is a file acm_fd.agent in this folder. This file will be executed when the phone connect to PC. autotelnet.on will be called from this file. auto backup native database is also called from this file. To restore native database, use RestoreDB ultility.

8. home/native
There is a file .profile in this folder. Developers may wish to modify this file to setup environment for their applications.

9. root
This folder contains root's profile and resource files. Customize it as you wish.

10. backup
native database will be backup to this folder

11. usr/animation
This folder contains startup and shutdown animation. Modify it as you wish.

12. usr/fonts
There is a file VLLP.TTF in this folder. This font supports almost all languages around the world. You can use it or replace with other font.

To use font in memory card, telnet to phone and run following commands:
cd /ezxlocal/vllp.sourceforge.net
rm -f AMCSL.TTF
ln -s /mmc/mmca1/vllp.sourceforge.net/usr/fonts/VLLP.TTF AMCSL.TTF

To use font in system location, telnet to phone and run following commands:
cd /ezxlocal/vllp.sourceforge.net
rm -f AMCSL.TTF
ln -s /usr/lib/ezx/lib/fonts/VLLP.TTF AMCSL.TTF

By default, the phone is using VLLP.TTF font in /usr/lib/ezx/lib/fonts

13. usr/icon
This folder contains iconres.ezx file. Modify it as you wish.

To use iconres in memory card, telnet to phone and run following commands:
cd /ezxlocal/vllp.sourceforge.net
rm -f iconres.ezx
ln -s /mmc/mmca1/vllp.sourceforge.net/usr/icon/iconres.ezx iconres.ezx

To use iconres in system location, telnet to phone and run following commands:
cd /ezxlocal/vllp.sourceforge.net
rm -f iconres.ezx
ln -s /usr/language/icon/vllp.ezx iconres.ezx

By default, the phone is using vllp.ezx (multi latin based keyboards) in /usr/language/icon

14. usr/neo
This folder contains preload neo.

15. usr/setup
This folder contains ezx_flexbit and other configuration files. You can modify ezx_flexbit file to enable other hidden features without the need of reflashing.

16. usr/sound
This folder contains gaintable and vibrate files. Modify it as you wish.

17. usr/string
This folder contains language files. Download ThreeSearch language pack and put all the files in this folder. Modify english_cn.kbd as you wish.

18. utilities
This folder contains English-English Dictionary: EngDict.jar. Install it as you wish.


Steps to install ThreeSearch C5 AE localization 3.0

Goto http://vllp.sourceforge.net to download E680G_G_0D.C5.AEP_0D.C0.B1P_T677SR_L001_S006_P012_GSOE680GT677SR009 firmware
and ThreeSearch_C5_AE_localization_3.0.zip

ThreeSearch_C5_AE_localization_3.0.zip contains:

vllp.sourceforge.net.zip
E680G_G_0D.C5.AEP_0D.C0.B1P_T677SR_L001_S006_P012_GSOE680GT677SR009_fullCG33.smg
E680G_G_0D.C5.AEP_0D.C0.B1P_T677SR_L001_S006_P012_GSOE680GT677SR009_fullCG36.smg

1. unzip file vllp.sourceforge.net.zip, put folder vllp.sourceforge.net in root directory of memory card /mmc/mmca1/vllp.sourceforge.net
This step needs to be done first before any modify firmwares can be flashed to phone. You need about 42MB free in memory card.

2. copy c5ae_cg35_3.0.nkc to root directory of memory card.

3. use PST to flash the phone with E680G_G_0D.C5.AEP_0D.C0.B1P_T677SR_L001_S006_P012_GSOE680GT677SR009 firmware
E680G_G_0D.C5.AEP_0D.C0.B1P_T677SR_L001_S006_P012_GSOE680GT677SR009_fullCG33.smg
E680G_G_0D.C5.AEP_0D.C0.B1P_T677SR_L001_S006_P012_GSOE680GT677SR009_fullCG36.smg

4. telnet to phone, run this command
cp /mmc/mmca1/c5ae_cg35_3.0.nkc /dev/tffsa

5. reboot the phone. Telnet to phone, run following commands to install theme:
cd /usr/language/theme
cp -f *.dhm /ezxlocal/download/appwrite/setup/

6. optional, download ThreeSearch language pack and copy all the files to /mmc/mmca1/vllp.sourceforge.net/usr/string
