The easiest way to use your phone as a modem is to install Motorola's Mobile Phone Tools software. When you connect your phone via USB, launch the Phone Tools app. It will discover your phone, and let you launch whatever browser you like utilizing the phone's GPRS connection. You can also call T-Mobile and ask them to walk you through setting up your phone as a modem, so that you will not have to run Phone Tools every time you want to surf the internet. The cost of all of this depends on your internet plan with T-Mobile. If you have unlimited internet on your phone, there is no additional charge.
