E680i "MyPrograms" ?

I noticed the /diska filesystem on the E680i comes prepared with a "MyPrograms" directory. Do you think Motorola might actually be encouraging 3rd party app development at some point?

I think they've already started (some games are already like this). The phone is extremely inexpensive for the power it offers, and my guess is Moto hopes to make up for that through liscensing agreements.
