Urgent assistance

I just got a new e680i online and the phone is great. but i just got a new scandisk 1GB sd card and i put it in my phone and nothing happens. is there something i am supposed to do before i put it in or after i put it in. if so could someone please tell me how to do this.

no, you don't have to do something be4 put your SD card. (just pray).
try another SD to your E680i and try your SD to another phone.
some SD/MMC not compatible w/ E680i.

well, if you have a separate card reader. try formating it using FAT system then use it in your phone. it worked for me.

Yes, Aremcy 's right.
I have an experience while first time inserted my new 2Gb SD card in my phone. My phone couldn't recognized it at all although I already tried to restarted phone and than unpluged and pluged it many times.
Then I formated it using my bro's E680i. So strange, when it pluged in his phone, the phone could recognaized it and then be formatted.
After that, I inserted it in my phone and tha...dha...my phone could recognized that there's a new card has been inserted.
So try to format using a card reader or another E680/i/g phone.
