Thread: E680i games

  1. #1

    Default E680i games

    Question for those E680i users...

does all the games required license to play... or there is no such prompt to connect..etc???

I managed to installed the jar for some games from E680i to E680.... after replacing the rights folder ... with "patched" ones...
but when i started the game, it ask for license, when connect... it says url invalid... blah, blah, blah..

    feedback pls...

i think, all original moto games that have DRM rights protected, on e680i and on e680, they need a license...
    Motorola e680 (flashed to e680i) + 4Gb SD card + HT820 Stereo BT Hedphones,
    Ubuntu 6.10 + 7.04,
    Nokia N95 + 8Gb microSD

the games on my e680i dont ask for anything. i do get a message before i start a game though, but its in chinese, so i have no idea what it says. i can just click the left button and then it starts the game. When i go to properties of the game, it says: unlimited license
Yes, but does it run Linux?

when playing e680 games, taiwan version just goes and asks for nothing. but china version shows up license agreement and connect to server thru gprs for kinda verification.
the same thing happens to e680i.

btw found out something. If you delete the preinstalled games through the options in the phone, it just deletes entry of the game in the installeddb! The .jar and .jad files are still in /diska/preload. If you delete them all + the preload folder you can get 50 mb free space!
Yes, but does it run Linux?

that is just backups. the ones that's installed and removed are those in /diska/.system/java/SystemApps

Instead of deleting them, can we just "move" them to back it up?
In case we just miss to play it, we can restore them back from our back up.
    Can we do that ?

Lol that makes totally no sense. But its better to have as much free space as possible on /diska/ as possible, becasue thats the ram right? That way we can run more apps at the same time.
