    Default bluetooth file transfer

    I've been trying to transfer files, mp3, movies, via bluetooth without success. anyone know how I can do this? I have an e680i and I've paired it successfully to my PC with a Moto dongle. thanks for the help.

    this depends on the bluetoothsoftware on your computer.
    i have bluesoleil on my windows 98 box.
    opex push is the term you have to search for in your manual.

    @vie.vie
    just tap on discoverable menu, after turn on your E680i bluetooth to get your E680i appear on Nokia's bluetooth searching list.

    okay, mrbaek, try this (and if you've done these then well, I'm just speaking for no reason )

    add new device via bluetooth on the computer and make sure e680i is discoverable, double click on the e680i icon that appears, it will then give you a list of actions/services avialable for it
    on object push:send business card choose configure, then where it says "received business cards" change it from outlook to "save folder"), it should now let you choose where you save the files you send to the comp via bluetooth. The problem is that it thinks all objects sent are going to be business cards and by default sends them to outlook which does nothing with your pics and music and such.

    If you already have done the pairing just go to My Bluetooth Places (it should appear on your "My PC" folder) then right click object push, then choose properties, and once again changed the "received business cards to "save folder" instead of outlook. Hope this helps.
