2GB memory card

I'm having problems with my 2gb card. I loaded it with mp3s, movies, tones, photos and when the memory is left with 700mb, i can't transfer anymore stuffs over. Anyone have this problem? Phone connected to pc and memory card in card reader have the same results. It seems card memory is full when there is still about 700+mb left.

i suggest quick formatting the card using the phone. remember to backup your data first though.

I'm using Kingston 2gb.

i have the same sd card then. did you try quick formatting using the phone? if that doesn't work then perhaps you have a bad sd card and need to replace it.

my sd card is working perfectly.

strangely the problem is gone without me having to do anything. Now i can utilize the remaining mb.

i have same problem before, but my limit is between 500-550mb,

i think there is maximum number of files that can be stored in root directory of the SD card, so when i put all files in a folder/directory, there is no problem...
